CCK Players’ Player

I am excited to announce that this year CCK Netball will be holding our first ever (and hopefully first of many) annual awards evening!!!! This will take place at the very end of the season (details to come) but what I need from you now is your nominations for one of the awards that will be given, the ‘Players Player’….

What I need you to do is email ccknetball@btinternet.com with the three people (in order or preference) that you think should get this award. The ‘Players Player’ should be the 3 people you most admire for skill, effort, attitude, commitment etc etc…. Annie needs this by FRIDAY MAY 25th (that’s THIS COMING FRIDAY!) - so she can get awards ordered in time for the awards evening.

Netball Training Tonight

Netball training is on tonight, we are having a longer session on the courts at The Crew Club, here.

Training is 19:30 – 21:00 at The Crew Club, 26 Coolham Drive, Brighton, BN2 5QW. It is outside so bring your layers.  New players are welcome and training is £3.50.

Netball Training Dates Jan-March

We have confirmed netball training dates up until Easter. They are in the netball calendar and are every other Monday:

We train at 21-23 Clarendon Villas, Hove, East Sussex BN3 3RE, 7.30-8.30pm. The entrance we use is on the side of the building on Goldstone St…just ring the doorbell Training costs £3.50.

Netball Training Tonight in Hove

We have a confirmed netball training session tonight at 7.30 – 8.30 at 21-23 Clarendon Villas, Hove, East Sussex BN3 3RE.

We will be working on core skills ready for the re-start of the season. New members are very welcome, whatever your experience. Training is free for your first session and then £3.50 per session.

Netball is back on, new members welcome

Right, unfortunately Christmas is over for another year and all the pleasures that come with it. So back to work, back to routine but on a happier note BACK TO NETBALL. Any ladies in Brighton who are looking to do a bit of extra exercise, meet new people and play competitive netball are more than welcome to come along to training next week. It will be on either Monday 9th or Tuesday 10th and will be confirmed asap with location details etc to follow.

All current members should definitely be coming along as both teams have netball matches on Tuesday 17th and after a long break we need to be honing our skills and fitness!

Christmas Social

So the CCK Netball Club Christmas Social is next Tuesday 13th December. It would be great for as many new members to come along and get to know everyone as possible. The plan is:

Meet at 7.30pm for drinks at the Eagle pub which is along Gloucester road in the North Laines, see it on Google Maps here.

We have an area reserved, you can buy food at the bar if you fancy it, I seem to recall they do a good plate of nachos! It’s nice and central with lots of lovely places to go for cocktails afterwards too which, depending on where people fancy going, can be decided on the night!
